It has the least lag time when taking numerous pictures of any point and shoot I looked at. The photos were amazing, and the auto emphasis functions wonderful for practically any situation. Remarkable little video camera. Remember that this is an extremely small point and shoot electronic camera so the zoom is what it is for this size camera. This button is flush with the electronic camera body so it can take a little while to strike the button ideal to transform the video camera on. I have 2 various other Canon cameras and I’ll confess I'm partial to the brand name with it’s convenience of use and excellentphoto quality on the majority of their electronic cameras.
